About Us

SKIP2BFIT ltd was launched in 2002 by John McCormack, once the No.2 ABA Ranked Heavyweight of Great Britain.
John has used his 20 years of boxing experience to establish skipping as an easy to learn, exciting and challenging activity, which links healthy living to science and education.
By using the SKIP2BFIT digital rope, visiting schools and teaching the benefits of the exercise John has already reached over 150,000 school children.

Media interest has been high – with press work ranging from the Times Educational Supplement to Meridian TV, BBC South East a variety of radio interviews and being the talking -point on prestigious stations such a radio five live.. Top sportspeople such as such as Kelly Holmes have an active understanding of SKIP2BFIT.

Over the first 5 years we have worked with over 1000 schools. This has developed our product further, with the uptake doubling almost every month. Statistics have shown the average length of time that participants keep interacting with the brand is years, with 50% sustainability in schools coming from skill –sharing, i.e. the older SKIP2BFIT beneficiaries leading the younger children through the programme basics on the playground.
