Skip2bfit was asked by its sponsor's,Sainsbury's Active Kids, to help launch the Active Kids 2010 promotion at Sainsbury's Head Office in Holborn. John and the Skip2bfit team spent all day at the head office getting people to have a go at the 2 minute Skip2bfit Challenge. They also handed out blueberries and apples to everybody in the atrium courtesy of our fruit sponsors Berryworld and Orchard World. The Skip2bfit team were also joined by Mr Blueberry who encouraged the skippers.
A Trophy was presented to the Top Skipper of the day who was Jaz from finance who did 399 skips in 2 minutes. Aimee from Sainsbury's Active Kids said, " We launched on 17th of February and to celebrate that with our colleagues we held an event in the atrium of our Store Support Centre in Holborn on Thursday 18th February. Skip2bfit came along to support that and we set our colleagues the Skip2bfit Challenge of how many skips they can do in 2 minutes. Lots of people took part and we had some great results!
For us skipping is an activity that kids of all ages can do, it is great fun and it is a low cost way to get the heart racing. Not surprisingly skipping ropes are one of the most popular products in the Active Kids catalogue. skip2bfit have a really good product that they are passionate about and they are tireless in their efforts to teach kids to skip and be active.
