Skip2bfit raising Standards in schools
How can a Skip2bfit skipping workshop help to raise standards in schools you may ask?

Well we have seen it happen and have the evidence to prove it. The beauty of Skip2bfit is that we use counting skipping ropes. The ropes are colourful and easy to use meaning that kids love them. We teach children how to skip in five easy steps in a very short time. We then challenge the children to see how many skips they can do in 2 minutes. We use our own CD with tracks of music all timed for two minutes e.g Eye of the Tiger. After getting a score from their first skip the children are then challenged to improve. It does not matter what the first score was, it may be 2 or 200 but anyone can improve and the majority of the children do. By doing this they experience that effort and perseverance can lead to success and once they have experienced this success, through Skip2bfit ,this can be transferred into the classroom, to achieve classroom based targets.
We call this the 'yes feeling' and you will see what we mean when you see us in action. Don't just take our word for it read this feedback from a headteacher.

We have also been commissioned for a pilot study where this was put to the test.

* Please note that Skip2bfit is a registered trademark which includes the classification of skipping workshops.
