As part of their fresh new partnership with Skip2bfit, Berryworld are donating 5p from every pack across their standard Berryworld brand range sold on Ocado for one month. They are also sponsoring Skip2bfit to give over 80 schools access to the Skip2bfit Programme.
Berryworld also recently invited us in to their offices to run a skipping challenge.
John from Skip2bfit met up with Tim Newton, 'The Man on the Train'. John and Tim first met around 15 years ago, on a train coming back from London. John was wearing his Skip2bfit clothes and Tim made the mistake of asking John what Skip2bfit was about. In those days it used to be a 2 hour journey back from London and Tim was getting off near John, so after 2 hours he knew all about Skip2bfit. Tim happened to be the Technical Director of Berryworld and he said he liked what Skip2bfit was doing and he thought that it would be good for Berryworld to partner up with us. Since then we have been able to give out fruit, mainly blueberries to all the children we see with Skip2bfit .
John and Tim were interviewed to speak about the first meeting and then the staff were asked if they wanted to take part in the Skip2bfit challenge. They were all given their own skip2bfit rope so they could continue after the event.
